iMovie 6 : it kinda, sorta works - a work-around
Marc Lepage alerted us to something we were unable
to figure out for ourselves: our plug-ins do work with iMovie 6 -- but you need
to disable a new feature first.
iMovie 6 shows a 'real-time' preview of the effect once you select the effect. you can disable this preview by clicking on the 'X' in the preview control.
once you have disabled the preview, you can configure the plug-in just like you did before.
beware, though - the preview snaps back every time you change the effect. you therefore better double-check that preview is disabled before configuring the plug-in. there is, unfortunately, not a preference that allows you to globally enable or disable preview.
