band disturbance
what is it?
when you film a tv screen or monitor, the result often has a horizontal band scrolling down. this happens when the screen’s refresh speed is not tightly synchronized with the camera’s shutter speed. band disturbance is a special effect that mimics that effect.
what should i use it for?
use this plug whenever you want to simulate a filmed tv transmission or monitor
features
area of effect:
define the area of the clip you want to be affected by the plug-in. all other parts or the clip remain untouched.
brightness:
this slider controls if the disturbance is brighter or darker than the picture (and how much). you can go from -50% to +50%
severity:
this controls how thick the band will appear.
speed:
this slider controls how fast the disturbance moves down.
