neutralize channel

what is it?

this little gem of a plug lets you 'bleach' your clip. like channel control, this plug lets you reduce the amount of color a channel contributes to the clip. unlike channel control, though, reducing the amount of color does not reduce the clip's brightness. thus, if you bleach out all color you end up with a black and white (grayscale) clip.

what should i use it for?

this clip is very useful to tone down color inside a clip to make it appear more somber. it can also make a clip appear aged or if it was filmed with a 70's era super-8 camera (use the 'flicker' plug afterwards to introduce the characteristic super-8 flicker)

features
